Company introduction:
matec-Maschinenbau GmbH is a manufacture of customized CNC traveling column - and gantry machines, as well as mill- and turn- centers. The company was founded 1992 by the owner Mister Erich Unger. Today 170 people are working for matec, manufacture 120 machine per year and generate a turnover of more than 41,2 Mio £/ Year (51,6 Mio. € /Y) and operates from a 35,000 sq. ft facility in Koengen, greater Stuttgart-Area, south-west of Germany. Matec has more than 1,500 machines in the field.

Product range:
matec specializes in manufacturing 3-, 4-, 5-axes traveling columns machining centers and 5-, 6- and 7-axes gantry machines. matec offers a product range which are individual customized solutions. Based on a modular system, matec machines have been designed for single-part and series production. Whether for twin table machining with rotary table or tail stock, multiple clamping or single-part manufacturing of voluminous parts, swivel table design matec machines covers nearly all field of application.
