Variable Speed Drive Motor : An infinitely variable speed inverter drive system with tachometer readout to optimise slide velocity and production rates for various tools. Motorised Slide Adjustment with push button control and Digital Readout to allow quick and accurate die setting with 0.1 mm Hydraulic Overload Protection is fitted into the slide suspension with a response time of 0.01 second. This system protects both the die and press if the rated tonnage is exceeded. Combination Wet Friction Disc Clutch and Brake – wet type linings running in oil allow higher intermittent stroke rates than dry-disc type. The unit is virtually maintenance free and needs no adjustment. A Dual Air Valve, solenoid operation, controls the clutch system to virtually eliminate the possibility of a malfunction.
