The KASTOmaxcut A 27 is one of five models of high-performance bandsawing machines in gantry design for large material dimensions. This saw is ideal for cutting slabs, ingot molds, forged shafts, open-die forgings, marine crank shafts, shafts for turbines, large tools of all qualities and for material that is difficult to cut (e.g. titanium, Hastelloy, Inconel). Because of its extremely heavy-duty construction, the KASTOmaxcut is designed for the average to very strong use in production and is suitable for the use of bi-metal and carbide tipped saw blades. The KASTOmaxcut is effective where very great demands are made on diameters and weights to be cut, on material qualities that are difficult to cut, on high cutting quality and cutting performance in two- and three-shift operation.
