The Alomat AL 310 works with workpiece clamping by lowering the unit. The advantage of this method: The height of the workpiece support table is not changed; the table height always remains constant, regardless of the workpiece height! Even long workpieces can be processed without problems and without additional effort. The workpiece is always at the same working height on the fixed support table. The clamping stroke and the workpiece thickness compensation are carried out from above by lowering the drilling and milling unit together with the glue injection device and the feed cylinders during one work cycle. The transverse wood slices are cut from a wooden strip with each work cycle, which is pushed in cycle by cycle.
