Thirteen powerful hold downs clamp the material securely so there is no material lift when the cut is being made, helping to prolong blade life. Like all other Baileigh Industrial shears this machine is built using heavy steel plate that is fully welded to offer the any shop years of service. The shearing blades also have multiple cutting edges allowing for longer blade life.
