Stronghold Supply, Inc.

Stronghold Supply, Inc. was founded in 1995, in Tampa, by Matt Botts and his wife, Kimberly. Matt had thirteen years experience working with one of the largest tool and fastener suppliers in the state of Florida. Kimberly’s business and accounting experience was called on to round out the team.

Matt and Kimberly made the move to Virginia (Matt’s birthplace). With their newborn daughter, a handful of loyal customers from Florida, and no accounts established in Virginia, it was a big risk. They wanted to bring their Florida style of jobsite service to the Northern Virginia area. Working out of the garage and basement in their Shenandoah Valley home, it was soon evident a store location was needed and fast.
