The Ingersoll Aluminum Ingot Scalper model S01 brings to many more customers the Ingersoll’s broad experience in aluminum ingot machining. Ingersoll has delivered over (50) scalpers to aluminum companies throughout the world. The latest generation of the Ingersoll Scalper provides the most advanced technology available for medium productivity with a 227 kW main spindle for ingots up to 8000mm long. Ingersoll provides a complete line with semi automatic ingot handling system, a chip collection system with crusher, fan, cyclone and duct system . The Ingersoll S01 Aluminum Ingot Scalper uses the latest generation Siemens CNC 840D for of the scalping process. Depending upon the production mix on ingot sizes and alloys, the Ingersoll S02 Scalper can produce up to 4,5 ingots/hour. Edge scalping is applicable in case of limited production need.
