E.H. Wachs PWC 36 Pipe Window Cutter with hydraulic drive is designed to cut access windows in pipe from 6" to 42" (DN150-1050) up to 1-1/4" (31.8mm) wall, without harming any internal stuctures. This is accomplished by utilizing an adjustable depth milling mechanism.

The Window Cutter has the capability of cutting windows up to 36" (91.4cm) in length (axially), from a minimum of 10° (radially) through a full 360° (radial) removal of pipe, all without removing the cutter blade.

Easy to use and highly versatile, the Window Cutter mounts quickly to a horizontal pipe and is secured via two adjustable length mounting chains. For vertical pipe optional guide rings are required. The PWC is capable of both axial and radial travel via two square drive manual feed mechanisms. The PWC 36 Window Cutter can perform slitting operations, as well as beveling operations for weld preparation.

It finds multiple uses in the oil and gas industries, or anywhere precision access windows need to be cut. Other applications include plate cutting and cutting access windows in slip lined, resin-based coated pipes up to approximately .25” (6.4mm) thick. Available by special order only.
