Standard hobbing cycles can be programmed via graphic format at the CNC machine or downloaded through an RS-232 interface.

The 4" diameter hob slide accommodates a larger hob containing more flutes, providing greater accuracy, longer hob life and a major improvement in finish. Maximum hob length is 6". The hob slide is mounted at the back of the work zone with the end support below the hob for maximum tooling clearances when hobbing high angles and small center distances.
Automatic hob shifter can be programmed to shift to a preset increment. The range of shift is from 0.001" to 6.000".
Power programmable CNC hob swivel setting is standard for accurate setting of the hob slide angle.
Manual grease lubrication is used to maintain precision accuracy and life to all bearing surfaces.
Full CNC machine enclosure with stainless steel work zone covers for excellent chip containment, dry hobbing capabilities and operator safety.
Fused disconnect insures against electrical overload.
The electrical panel conforms to codes set by the National Machine Tool Builders Association and to ANSI-NFPA 79.
