With the HGF 325 machine , we have developed an automatic mending machine that repairs long gaps in wooden workpieces: cracks, pith tubes, resin pockets, bark edges, small wood defects, mechanical damage to lamellar edges, poor glue joints ... no problem for machine HGF 325 with they can process both lamello minispot patches and patch strips.

The damaged area is milled out in just one setting, followed by glueing.

When processing patch strips , the workpiece is first placed on the machine table. After the start impulse with a foot switch, the workpiece is clamped to the table top by lowering the unit and the elongated flaw is milled out: The side feed is 320 mm for patch strips with a nominal length of 250 mm (total length approx. 320 mm, width 8 mm, height 13 mm); At the same time as the page feed, the glue is applied to the cutout. The patch strip is then placed by hand in the glued groove and pressed into the groove by lowering the unit.

The cycle time for this is approx. 5 seconds.
