Shuttles are constant heat sealers that can seal blisters, tray lids, or precision heat sealing applications. The seal platens range in sizes from 10" x14" up to including 24" x 36". Shuttles are available in one or two station models. These sealers can be used for face seal blisters, double card trapped blisters, club style blisters, and half clamshells. Shuttles are also lid tray sealer. They can seal all types of lid materials including Tyvek. Medical validated shuttles are available.

The company was founded in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in 1970 under the name of Visualpak, Ltd. The company primarily produced blister sealing machinery. In 1984 Visualpak, Ltd. merged with Thermoforming S.p.A. of Milano, Italy and was renamed Visual Thermoforming Ltd. The product line was expanded to include Skin Packaging Machinery, Die Cutting machines and Thermoformers. In 1997 the name was changed to Visual Packaging Systems, Inc. to better reflect the range of products being manufactured. In 2004 assets and rights of Visual were acquired by Visual Packaging Group Inc. Visual's sister company Visual Packaging Group LLC took over the production and sales in the USA.
