High performance belt grinding plant for processing mild steel, stainless steel, high strength steel and wear steel.
The operation of the LGA series differs in general to the other series. Here the workpiece is clamped and fix the grinding unit then moves. The LGA series are available in different lengths and they are offered with three different grinding unit variants. In the machines of the type III, the grinding unit is processing the bevel from above and from below and it is controlled manually and automatically in this case.

Founded in 1991 by Stephan Rieth, an engineering graduate and qualified welding engineer, GERIMA has been developing machines and production processes ever since. Since 1994, the company has focused on designing and developing beveling machines for use in the manufacture of mobile cranes, railway vehicles, containers and ships, as well as in the plant and pipeline construction sectors. GERIMA's machine tools and power tools are mainly used to create the accurate welding bevels needed when preparing welding joints. They are also used to create visible bevels and functional bevels and for edge rounding prior to the painting or coating surface.
