Hence is this machine concept especially suited for high-speed machining of work pieces with a large volume. A huge advantage of this machine concept is that the ENDURA® 1000LINEAR Travelling Column Milling Machine can be easily loaded, even with large-size work pieces. Due to its construction method, this Travelling Column Milling Machine can be manufactured in almost any length (X-traverse path).

The power and precision of these machines is reflected in their acceleration of up to 5 m/sek². These machines achieve the same accuracy and surface quality as conventional milling machines in travelling column construction, but they are considerably faster.
