Mechanical crankshaft stroking spindle CNC machines
Fellows 10-4 Gear Shaper with Fanuc Oi-MD CNC Control and infinitely variable stroking range 50 to 1300 strokes/minute. Arranged for cutting spur and helical gears, by standard or Multipass methods. Includes hydrostatic spur guide as standard.
The Fanuc Oi-MD CNC control system is a fully featured CNC offering highly developed interactive part programming, high reliability and expansion capabilities in an Industry Standard Package.
4 CNC Axes Include:
Stroke Drive - AC spindle motor driven by a pulse width modulated controller with programmable stroking speeds. Stroking speeds may be varied by a manual override control. Includes a spindle orientation feature to position the cutter spindle at the top of the stroke.
Rotary Feed Drive - AC servomotor driven by a pulse width modulated digital servo controller with programmable rotary feed rates. Feed range is from .001" (.025 mill) to .012" (.305 mill) per 1" (25.4 mill) of cutter pitch diameter per stroke for normal feed rates and up to .160" (4.064 mill) for multi-pass cutting. These feed rates are separately programmable for slow rotation during in feed each cut and multi-pass operation. Allows rapid rotation of work and/or cutter spindle for truing, manual reversing of direction of cut and includes a feed override control.
Radial Feed Drive - Preloaded ball screw driven by a pulse width modulated digital servo controller. Feed rates and depths are programmable. Feed range is from .0001" (.0025 mill) to .020" (.508 mill) per stroke up to 12" (.304 mill) per minute, with rapid traverse rate of 150" (3810 mill) per minute. Allows programmable constant or diminishing in feed rate. Integral motor encoder provides position feedback information.
Electronic Index Drive - AC servo motors driven by digital pulse width modulated drives. Cutter and worktable rotation is synchronized by the part program based on gear data inputs. Each axis can be individually controlled during manual mode for cutter or work truing and is equipped with a precise reference point for cutter or work alignment. - Sobre la Compañía
